Next week, October 17- 21, bring a friend for FREE!
We are celebrating Friend Week at Cycle Town. We love you riders, so naturally we’ll love your friends too and want them to share in the joy.
Here’s how it works. Check out our schedule and email or call us with your and your friend’s names and the class you’d like to take. We’ll add your friend to your class for free!
Here are some of the benefits of working out with a friend:
- Stay accountable and plan workouts ahead of time together
- Push one another — the shared experience of a ‘hurt so good’ sprint!
- Pre- and post-workouts are catch-up time
** Friend week is available to new riders and riders who have not visited in the last 4 months. Friend Week will run Monday – Friday, Oct 17 – 21 and also our new Sunday class on Sunday Oct. 16 or Oct. 23 at 11 AM.
Tell your friends. Bring your friends. See ya in a saddle!

Thirteen months ago we opened our studio committed to beat riding goodness. Our Rhythm Ride is the foundation for delivering you exceptional cardio and core strength and a rock star experience. Now we are ready to expand into upper body strength with a class called Rhythm Ripped. This new class once again comes proven out of Laguna Beach and combines the cardio you know and love from a traditional Rhythm Ride class with an upper body workout using hand weights. We focus on biceps, triceps and deltoids. It’s all on the bike. It’s all still to the beat. It will challenge you. We go for the BURN.
Rhythm Ripped classes will begin February 8th with 3 classes on the schedule. Bring on the strong!

Ohhhhhhhhhhh riders, you are doing such an amazing job on the bike. You ride to the beat like rock stars and go all in when we throw challenges at you. It’s so inspiring. Because of you, our ride has evolved much quicker than we ever expected, with a lot more to come. Now we’re going to have a conversation about gear.
Gear is a glorious thing and it’s time for you to begin your love affair with it. What? A red knob? Yes! You need to embrace that knob like you do a guilty pleasure. We have been adding a lot more gear to our rides. Here are 4 reasons why. Get on board with them and commit to paying close attention to your gear to take your ride and fitness to the next level. You will be glad you did.
• Gear supports you so you can catch that beat. As you know, nothing is better than riding to the beat.
• Gear requires that you exert more energy to stay on beat thus making your workout exponentially more effective and sweaty. (Don’t forget we take pride in sweat.)
• Gear challenges you to dig deep physically and mentally. To stay on beat with heavier pedal strokes, it takes a lot of focus. 50 minutes focused on you… heaven.
• Gear slows you down and enables you to tighten your core and really work your muscles through exaggerated pedal strokes and the Rhythm Ride movements for a full body workout.
Gear is an essential component of interval training or, as we like to call it, cardio fun on a bike. We always guide you with where your gear should be during each song via a perceived exertion scale. Follow our lead and begin that love affair with gear today. It will make you feel great.

This weekend we got some exciting news! Shelley, the founder of the Rhythm Ride® method, called to say her studio was just selected as a top spin studio in Orange County by OC Inroom Magazine. Check.It.Out.
We are very proud of Shelley out in Laguna and the recognition Rhythm Ride is getting. We know how effective and fun it is to ride to the beat. There’s been a lot of love for Rhythm Ride and we’re thrilled to grow it right here in Hingham Square. Ride on, Cycle Town.

Indoor cycling has evolved so much over the past five years. There’s been a movement toward choreographing the ride to the beat of the music. Riding to the beat creates a more effective, efficient and energetic experience. We are bringing heart, soul, and rhythm to Hingham Square.
I’m excited to introduce our Rhythm Ride, where we ride to the beat and match our pedal strokes and speed to the rhythm. Rhythm Ride came to us from Laguna Beach, California. Our master trainer Shelley founded Rhythm Ride method six years ago and we can’t get enough of it. The ride is music centric, positive and empowering. It’s a great cardio workout and it emphasizes core strength. Your fitness goes to a new level while you have fun. We ride as a pack, encouraging a communal rather than competitive atmosphere.
Last month I trained at Shelley’s studio in Laguna. Not a bad “business trip”. I started drinking juice and smoothies. Shelley is such a gem.
When she’s not spinning she’s surfing or launching her new business selling gorgeous designer beach umbrellas, Beach Brella. I brought the method home and began training our crew. Shelley and fellow master trainer Julia arrived in Hingham last weekend to run their training program. We are in rehearsals now– 9 days until we open!
